That’s right, you heard it here first — and it’s not from the wire or the rumor mill. It’s information straight from SPANX Headquarters in Atlanta, Georga.
I’ve been emailing the folks over at SPANX since January of this year (man am I patient) asking if they could confirm whether or not they’re coming out with a male version of SPANX, and if so, could they share more details about their plans. Well, yesterday I received a really nice email from someone on their PR team:
Hi Tug,
Thanks for checking back in. SPANX for men is still very much in the works, but I still don’t have much info to share at this point. Please know that as soon as I do, I will give you a buzz and share it with you.

I’ll be in touch.
Now, the mystery is exactly WHAT product will they be launching with and when will they be launching it. Could they be coming out with a men’s slimming undershirt to compete with the likes of Equmen, RipT Fusion, and Sculptees? Will they be offering a trunk-style slimming underwear like 2(x)ist and Equmen, or will it be more like the compression garments from Lumbarwear?
What exactly does Sara Blakely have up her sleeve?
Your guess is as good as mine, but one thing’s for sure — I’m sure it’s going to be one exciting product launch!
