Sweat Excessively? This undershirt just might be for you

Here’s a pretty interesting find.

If you’re someone who suffers from excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) or are someone who just sweats a little more than the average joe, the undershirts from Silverback Apparel might just be what you’re looking for.

This new undershirt manufacturer launched in 2008 and is offering two different types of undershirts. The first is a Bamboo-based undershirt (65% bamboo / 35% polyester) and the second is one made with silver-based X-Static fabric (4% X-static / 96% polyester).

If you’ve been here before, you’ll likely recall that both fabrics (X-static and bamboo) are known for their antimicrobial and anti-odor characteristics. X-Static also claims that because silver is the most thermally conductive element on the planet, their fabric will regulate body temperature and manage moisture better.

My first experience with X-static was with LUMBARWEAR and I was pretty impressed with how cool and comfortable the garment was when I was working out.

What’s most interesting about these undershirts is that they are all manufactured with a double layer of fabric beneath the armpits and back. For those who sweat a lot, that extra layer of protection could make all the difference. They offer their undershirts in crew neck, v-neck, and deep v-neck collar styles and are priced at $39.99 for their bamboo undershirt and $49.99 for their X-static undershirt.

X-Static Undershirt: Made with 4% pure silver, the X-Static Crewneck will reduce sweat and eliminate odor. I tried contacting the company (through their website and through an email directly to the founder over the last couple of days) to learn more about their product, but I haven’t heard back from anyone yet. As soon as I do, I’ll provide an update.
